WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON?! It seems as if in Hollywood today, sexual assault and rape is the new norm!!
With all of the sexual assault cases coming to light, starting with Bill Cosby and ending with Nelly, it wouldn’t even be a thought that a man such as the 240 lb Terry Crews would have a story to tell.
The Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment case drove Crews to speak on his past experience.
Crews tweeted Tuesday, “This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME…My wife n I were at a Hollywood function last year n a high level Hollywood executive came over 2 me and groped my privates.”
“Jumping back I said What are you doing?! My wife saw everything n we looked at him like he was crazy. He just grinned like a jerk.”
Crews didn’t automatically react to this incident because he knew the press would blow up the situation in the wrong way. He didn’t want to deal with the back lash or drama.
“’240 lbs. Black Man stomps out Hollywood Honcho’ would be the headline the next day,” Crews said.
From this experience, Crews said that he can now relate to females that let it go when they are sexually assaulted out of fear of not being believed and the possible repercussions.
