A woman is recovering from head injuries after a chair hit her in the head Sunday morning.
A woman name Kelly McDaniel (25) attended Dragon Con dressed as Marvel villain Loki. McDaniel gives thanks to the costume for saving her life after she was hit in the head by a chair thrown off the 10th floor from a balcony at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Atlanta.
Atlanta police says the hotel had an area at the top from which chairs could have been thrown so they don’t believe it came from a guest’s room. McDaniel said all she remembers is loud pops and wet warm blood rushing down her face. She was then rushed to Grady hospital for a head injury treatment and is urging witness to call the police if they know any information. (2,000$ reward from APD)
According to Grady hospital she is in stable condition and thanks the Dragon Con family for the love and support.
