LOOKS LIKE DONALD GLOVER IS THANKFUL FOR THE MIGOS!
Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino and star of the hit show Atlanta, won two awards at the Golden Globes 2017 last night. He won best Actor in a television series and also Best Comedy Series. Donald Glover also created the show and works as an Executive Producer.
During his acceptance speech he says, “I really want to thank Atlanta and black folks in Atlanta for real – just for being alive and doing just amazing and being amazing people. I couldn’t be here without Atlanta and I really want to thank the Migos, not for being in the show, but for making Bad and Bougee, like that’s the best song ever.” He later explains he shouted them out because he feels they are the Beetles of this generation, they don’t get a lot of respect, and the song is just fly!”
Thanks to Donald Glover’s Migos shoutout, the song has hit 67 million plays on Spotify and gained 10 million YouTube views in 12 hours. The Migos also thanked him on Social Media for the shout out and the opportunity to be apart of history.
