The road to March Madness is officially set after the NCAA Selection Committee revealed the full 68-team bracket for the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Two Georgia programs—the Georgia Bulldogs and Kennesaw State Owls—now know where they stand and who they will face as they begin their postseason runs.
The Georgia Bulldogs earned a No. 8 seed in the Midwest Region and will take on No. 9 seed Saint Louis in the first round. The matchup is scheduled for Thursday, March 19 in Buffalo, New York, as the Bulldogs look to advance past the opening round and build on another strong season under head coach Mike White.
Meanwhile, the Kennesaw State Owls secured a No. 14 seed in the West Region and will face powerhouse No. 3 seed Gonzaga in the opening round. The game will take place in Portland, Oregon, giving the Owls a chance to pull off one of the tournament’s classic early-round upsets.
Kennesaw State punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Conference USA Tournament championship, defeating Louisiana Tech to earn the conference’s automatic bid. The victory marked a historic moment for the program and its second NCAA Tournament appearance in the past four years.
With the bracket now finalized, both Georgia programs will begin preparing for the opening round of the tournament as they aim to make deep runs in one of the most unpredictable events in college sports.
