Hundreds of fans gathered at the Southern Exchange Ballrooms on Peachtree Street for the free “Party on Peachtree” celebration. The event gave supporters an opportunity to experience the club’s newly revealed name, crest and colors while getting an early look at what Atlanta City FC hopes to bring to the city. Atlanta City FC
The celebration featured DJs, games, giveaways, food, interactive activities and performances from the Atlanta Drum Academy. Fans also had their first opportunity to purchase official Atlanta City FC merchandise. Atlanta City FC
The launch follows the September 28 unveiling of the club’s identity. Atlanta City FC’s crest is centered around a phoenix, a symbol closely associated with Atlanta’s history of resilience and rebirth. Atlanta’s Newest Professional Soccer Club

The excitement is already building well before kickoff. Club officials previously reported receiving more than 5,000 season-ticket deposits, an early indication of the interest surrounding professional women’s soccer in Atlanta. Atlanta Magazine
For young girls growing up playing soccer across metro Atlanta, the arrival of Atlanta City FC also creates something that hasn’t previously existed at this level: a hometown NWSL club and a visible pathway to dream about representing their own city professionally.
With its first match still two years away, Sunday’s launch party showed that Atlanta City FC is already beginning to build its identity, its fan base and its place within Atlanta’s sports culture.
