ATLANTA, GA — Few collaborations could feel more Atlanta than Outkast and Waffle House.
Thousands of fans recently gathered at the Waffle House near Centennial Olympic Park for a special merchandise release celebrating the legendary Atlanta rap duo and the Georgia-born restaurant chain. Axios
The event featured exclusive collaborative merchandise along with a special menu inspired by André 3000 and Big Boi. The turnout became so large that Atlanta police temporarily closed nearby streets as fans lined up around the block. Axios
Some attendees reportedly waited more than an hour for an opportunity to shop the collection and experience the event.
For Atlanta, the collaboration brings together two names that have become deeply connected to the city’s identity — one through Southern hip-hop and the other through late-night Southern dining.
The limited merchandise was also made available online while supplies last.
