ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta is preparing to welcome two of its newest residents to the public as excitement builds around the return of giant pandas to Zoo Atlanta.
The zoo has announced that Ping Ping and Fu Shuang are scheduled to make their public debut on November 6, giving visitors their first opportunity to see the new pandas in person.
The arrival represents another major chapter in Atlanta’s long relationship with giant pandas and gives families across metro Atlanta a new reason to plan a trip to the zoo.
Before their public introduction, the animals will have time to adjust to their surroundings and settle into their new home.
With giant pandas historically ranking among Zoo Atlanta’s most recognizable attractions, the November debut is expected to draw plenty of attention from residents and visitors alike.
