According to AJC a bomb squad unit with the Atlanta police retrieved a grenade from a returned rental car in Buckhead, officials confirmed.
The grenade was found inside a silver Ford Edge at a Hertz rental car facility in the 3000 block of Peachtree Road. Nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution, Brown said.
Details on how the grenade got inside the car were not released.
