Twenty-year-old, Tevin Gullah, electrocuted from downed power line…
Tevin had just gotten off of work and was walking home on Friday night when the unexpected happened. Tevin stepped on a downed power line that was still active, killing him instantly.
Charles Barker talked with news crews having witnessed the tragic event. Barker says he shouted at Tevin to stop, there was a live wire. Family members explained how he was just robbed on Monday night and was probably startled from the warning causing him to run straight into the danger.
‘This could have been avoided. If they would’ve done what they were suppose to do.” Marian Hutchinson stated. Barker said he called 911 where he was explaining what happened and states there was a delay in the response.
