Dias started at a young age wanting to gather all books with black women as the main character. Her first goal was to collect 1,000 books but ended up gathering 10,000 books.
Recently, she published a book in 2018 named “Marley Dias Get It Done: And So Can You!’, where she talks about how others her age can inspire change through activism.
