After the controversy over Kanye West purchasing a photo of the late Whitney Houston’s bathroom for $85k for Pusha T’s “Daytona” album, now this week a Bible that belonged to the singer that was left behind in one of her homes will be going up for sale for $95,000!
Houston left behind the Bible when she moved out of her Newport Beach home years before her tragic death. She rented the home from 2009-2011 and now her former landlord is selling her Bible for a whooping $95k.
The landlord claims he signed an NDA and contacted Whitney’s team about the items that were left behind, and he was told that he could keep the items.
The landlord sold the home back in 2012 and threw out the rest of Whitney’s belongings that were left behind, but as far as the Bible, he held on to it because it has her handwriting all throughout the valuable book. Some of the pages archived important parts in her life, such as her marriage to Bobby Brown and the birth of their daughter Bobbi Kristina.
