According to reports, the Kendrick Lamar-curated soundtrack for ‘Black Panther debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.
Billboard noted the album moved 154,000 equivalent album units in the first week. Out of the number moved to 52,000 of those units are from traditional album sales.
Kendrick has been a part of a project that moved major units at the time of its arrival on the Billboard 200.
