Although Kodak Black is still in a Florida prison, he is making plans for himself after his release.
The rapper has been actively taking courses to earn his GED. As well, he also filed a petition to legally change his name from, Dieuson Octave to Bill K. Kapri. The judge has granted his permission to do so.
Kodak’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, says that his client desired a “fresh start” after his release despite his antics from previous months. Although, he is legally changing his name, he will still answer to Kodak Black for professional reasons.
Kodaks expected release date from prison is set to be sometime in October.
