On April 20th, this past Friday, Bhavesh Patel was arrested on charges of dangerous driving.
Patel took his wife’s Tesla for a spin and ended up letting the smart car drive itself while he climbed into the passenger to seat.
Nearby drivers spotted Patel with his hands behind his head and feet kicked up in the wind-shield while he seemed to have the car in autopilot.
When law officers spoke with Patel, “He admitted that he knew what he had done was “silly” but the car was capable of something “amazing” and that he was just the “unlucky one who got caught”.
law officials arrested Patel and banned him from driving for 18 months.
