Cardi B has taken the fashion world by storm. She may attend the hottest events wearing luxurious gowns and sit with Anna Wintour, but it’s her devotion to those on a budget that may pay off huge in the end.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the retail company Fashion Nova just filed documents this month to lock up Cardi’s name for online retail store services. They specifically filed for the name “Cardi.B” and “CB” and plan to sell a full line of threads; including blouses, bodysuits, dresses, jackets, jumpsuits, leggings, rompers, skirts, undergarments and shirts. Footwear is listed too, because … y’know … red bottoms.
Cardi has been associated with Fashion Nova for years promoting their products on her social media, and in fact she helped the online outlet grow in popularity among not only the hip-hop crowd, but reality tv fans as well. No matter how famous Cardi has become, she still regularly gives props to Fashion Nova for being a great place to get affordable clothes.
