2 Students brought a shot gun to school?!
Atlanta – 2 Students from Lithonia Middle School are now being charged with possession of a weapon after School officials say they found a shotgun in the ceiling of the boy’s bathroom!
The gun was found after a student alerted the administrator about the ceiling.
Police say there were no students or teachers harmed at the the school. Lithonia middle school alerted parents of the students about this incident but re assured them that no one got hurt.
A parent by the name of Gloria Smith responded to school officials and stated “What is a 12, 13, or 14-year-old child doing with a shotgun, a gun, or any type of weapon at all? Not only at school, but anywhere”?
Incidents occurring at middle Schools like this really makes us wonder about our children’s safety and what the schools are doing now. Guns in a school environment is serious.
Children names are still unknown at the moment and police officials have taken this case in their own hands.
The teens were charged immediately and went to juvenile court last night.
