Young Jeezy was arrested in 2014 for gun possession in Irvine, CA in connection with the shooting death of concert promoter Eric Johnson. Johnson was shot at least five times backstage at Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa’s concert in Mountain View, CA.
According to TMZ, the victim’s family is now suing the rapper for wrongful death and is claiming in documents, that Jeezy was never charged with murder, even though an eyewitness identified him in police reports and picked him out of a photo line-up. Johnson’s kids are suing the rapper for funeral expenses plus damages.
Jeezy’s lawyer had no comment.
