HOV WINS THE BIDDING WAR
After an intense bidding war with Universal and FOX, Jay-Z has won the rights to the books that the upcoming Trayvon Martin docu-series will be based off of.
Jay-Z has produced similar projects and isn’t shy about his passion for retelling the stories of young, black men, killed unjustly by the police.
There’s no word on when the series will be released, but production has begun as Jay-Z teams up wit the Weinstein company to create the highly-anticipated series.
