AFTER 2 SEASONS TIMBALAND IS LEAVING, CHECK OUT WHY
Timbaland, is leaving after 2 seasons of working as the executive music producer of the hit series “Empire”. He says he has completed his upcoming album and will use television as a platform for the new music.
The show will now be taken over by producer Rodney “Dark Child” Jenkins and singer/songwriter Ester Dean. Dark Child is known to work with several big name artists such as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Nicki Mina, while Ester Dean has worked with major artist like Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Katy Perry.
The Senior VP of A&R, Shawn Holiday over at Columbia Records says, “we were happy to work with Timbaland during the first two seasons, but we wanted to take a different approach for Season 3.”
