The veteran personality joins Core Radio Group’s Atlanta roster November 9, airing from 6–10 p.m.
ATLANTA — A familiar voice. A fresh chapter. Core Radio Group’s Streetz 94.5 welcomes veteran radio personality Joshua “J-Nicks” Nicks with Nicks at Nite, a brand-new night show launching Monday, November 9, 2026, from 6–10 p.m.
J-Nicks brings more than two decades of experience, deep Atlanta roots and a connection to the music, people and culture that move the city. His arrival adds a proven personality to the Streetz lineup and brings fresh energy to Atlanta nights.
“Adding a familiar name like J-Nicks to our roster just makes sense,” said Solo. “Atlanta knows his voice, his energy and his love for this city. Nicks at Nite gives us a chance to build on that connection and give listeners something to look forward to.”
J-Nicks built his career at Q95.5 in St. Louis before making his mark in Atlanta at Hot 107.9, where his Durtty Boyz brand became a fixture in evening radio. Across 19 years with Radio One Atlanta, he held roles spanning nights and afternoon drive. He also reached national audiences as a host of BET’s Rap City, connecting viewers with some of hip-hop’s biggest voices.
“J-Nicks understands the power of local radio and the importance of earning the community’s trust,” said Steve Hegwood, President and CEO of Core Radio Group. “He brings experience, credibility and a passion for the culture. Nicks at Nite strengthens our lineup and reflects our confidence in the future of Streetz 94.5.”
Known for championing emerging artists and staying connected to the community, J-Nicks enters this next chapter with the same drive that built his career: entertain, connect and help the next generation be heard.
Nicks at Nite premieres Monday, November 9, 2026, from 6–10 p.m. on Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5.
