ATLANTA, GA — Georgia voters will soon have the opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of the November midterm elections as the state’s early voting period officially begins Tuesday, October 13.
The early voting window runs through Friday, October 30, giving residents nearly three weeks to participate before Election Day on November 3.
The 2026 midterm elections are expected to attract significant attention as Georgia voters decide several important state and federal races.
Among the contests on the ballot are elections for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, governor and other statewide offices.
Georgia remains a closely watched political battleground, with both major political parties competing for support across Metro Atlanta and throughout the state.
Election officials are encouraging residents to review their voter registration information, confirm available voting locations and become familiar with the candidates before heading to the polls.
Unlike voting on Election Day, eligible Georgia voters can generally cast their ballots at any designated early voting location within their registered county.
Polling locations and operating hours may vary depending on the county.
Early voting will be available on weekdays and designated weekend dates, offering additional flexibility for residents balancing work, school and other responsibilities.
Voters should also review Georgia’s identification requirements before visiting a polling location.
With important decisions affecting state leadership, federal representation and public policy on the ballot, the upcoming election could have lasting consequences for Georgia residents.
Election officials recommend checking official county election resources for the most accurate voting information.
Residents can verify their voter registration and locate early voting sites through Georgia’s My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
