Atlantic Station Gets New Management as Community Is Asked to Help Shape Its Future

0

ATLANTA, GA — Changes are underway at Atlantic Station as a new management company takes over the popular Midtown Atlanta destination and begins looking toward its next chapter.

Trademark Property Company has assumed management of the 138-acre mixed-use district, which is home to a combination of retail stores, restaurants, entertainment venues, offices and residential spaces. The company brings more than 30 years of experience developing, investing in and managing mixed-use properties across the country.

As part of the transition, Trademark plans to take a closer look at what currently works at Atlantic Station while identifying new opportunities to improve the overall experience for visitors, residents, employees and businesses.

Trademark CEO Terry Montesi said the company is evaluating Atlantic Station’s existing strengths while exploring ways to take the development to the next level. Community feedback is expected to play a major role in that process.

In the coming weeks, a community engagement survey is expected to launch, giving people who live, work, shop and spend time at Atlantic Station an opportunity to share what they would like to see from the development moving forward.

The new management arrives as Atlantic Station continues to evolve its combination of shopping, dining, entertainment and community experiences.

While no major redevelopment plans have been announced yet, the upcoming survey could provide an early indication of what Atlantans want to see added, improved or changed at one of Midtown’s most recognizable destinations.
