It was a milestone two decades in the making.
The Georgia Aquarium, nestled in the heart of downtown Atlanta, was turning 20 — and to celebrate, it had a gift for the community that made it thrive: $20 Tuesday tickets.
For a limited time, visitors could explore the aquatic wonderland at a fraction of the usual price. Normally priced at over $44 for advance admission and nearly $68 at the gate, these discounted tickets were a rare opportunity — available every Tuesday through the end of the year, as long as they were booked in advance. The only blackout date: December 30.
