A boil water advisory for several metro Atlanta cities is now lifted.
Atlanta’s water management department issued the advisory Friday for residents in South Fulton, Union City, Palmetto, Chattahoochee Hills, and Fairburn due to a breach on a large water main at 1041 Fairburn Road. Crews are still repairing the breach, but water pressure is back to normal and water samples have confirmed that it’s not contaminated.
