The staff at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta are thanking Tyler Perry Studios for their generous gift for National Hospital week.
The hospital said hundreds of gourmet meals were delivered to the staff on Monday. The meals were prepared by celebrity chef and “Grady baby” Elliot Farmer and his staff.
The delivery was weeks in the planning by the Tyler Perry Studios team.
“We are absolutely astounded by the generosity and kindness of the Tyler Perry Studios staff. To do something this special for our frontline care providers and support staff makes this year’s hospital week celebration extraordinary,” said Lindsay Caulfield, Grady’s Chief Experience Officer. “We are humbled and honored by their support.”
Grady said it is in the “trenches” in the battle against COVID-19. The health system said its staff are grateful for the support received during this unprecedented time in the community.
