League officials say that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended indefinitely after failing yet another drug test.
“Josh Gordon of the Seattle Seahawks has been suspended indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse.”
It is not known exactly what Gordon tested positive for, however, he does have a history of substance abuse. The talented player missed the 2015 and 2016 NFL seasons when he played for the Cleveland Browns due to similar issues.
The Cleveland Browns eventually threw in the towel and traded Gordon to the New England Patriots in 2018. However, at the end of the 2018 season, he violated the league’s drug policy again and sat out of the entire postseason, including the Super Bowl, when the Patriots won against the Rams.
