Every single school in the Atlanta Public School district will be offered free breakfast and lunch this year regardless of financial need. The federal grant that the school district has been using to provide lunch, previously only provided free lunch on a school-by-school basis. After reworking the budget they realized the entire district was able to quality- even the families that don’t need assistance.
