Spinderella is suing Salt-N-Pepa for unpaid royalties, multiple breaches of contract, fraud and intentional misrepresentation.
Deidra Roper, Spinderella, alleges she was cut out of deals dating back to 1999, despite generating “significant on-stage excitement” and entertaining “audiences with her captivating musical grooves and remarkable deejay tricks.”
Sprinderella says she helped boost the female trio and brand to legendary iconic status and worldwide fame.
Salt and Pepa have reportedly clapped back, claiming that she doesn’t have her facts right and is just suing them because of her own insecurities about feeling left out from the group.
