Some of the bigger names in the game are calling for a moment of silence. There has been a PSA for musicians to cease musical releases for the moment, and two artists who have agreed to hold off on dropping records are YG and ScHoolboy Q. YG took to Twitter to reveal he planned on delivering a record next Friday, but he now feels the urge to wait so that he has more time to mourn Nipsey Hussle’s passing.
After previously stating that he would grieve the loss of Nipsey privately, ScHoolboy Q released a series of video clips on his Instagram Story, stating that he, too, was pushing back his album’s release date.
