WOULD YOU SAY I DO AT WAL-MART? WELL, THIS ONE COUPLE DID!
Groceries weren’t the only thing being bagged at a Vermont Walmart yesterday. Apparently, a couple bagged their dream wedding as well, yes you read that right! The couple made their vows in front of hundreds of shoppers and employees at the Berlin Vermont, Walmart.
Joanne and William Boulanger actually met at the Walmart and had originally planned on getting married at their local courthouse, but when their manager offered to host the wedding at the job, the couple thought “Why not?”
The newlyweds didn’t expect to receive this much attention from their ceremony. Joanne goes on to say in an interview, “ We were just doing it because it was fast, it was easy, it was convenient.”
The store even went so far as to post the story and video to their Facebook page saying, “ Join our winning team here in Berlin and maybe you’ll find your soulmate too!!!!!!!!!,”
I may need to go to Walmart more often…
