Golden State Warriors All-StarKevin Durant has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for “directing inappropriate language towards a fan” at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas over the weekend.
The incident occurred with 1:01 remaining in the first quarter of the Warriors’ 112-109 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday night, when Durant approached the heckler seated on the baseline and told them point blank, “Watch the fucking game and shut the fuck up.” It’s unknown what was said to KD that provoked his harsh response.
