KNUCKLEHEAD OF THE DAY

A Memphis man is not only accused of stealing a car, but of being a “two-timer,” as well.

According to WMC-TV, police received a report from a woman who said her car had been stolen after Kelton Griffin came over for a date. Investigators say Griffin stopped at a gas station and asked the woman to go inside to get him cigars.

While she was inside, he drove off in her Volvo.

The victim tried to contact Griffin, but he wouldn’t return her calls and disconnected from her on social media.

A short time later, the woman received a text from another woman who said Griffin had asked her out on a date. The new date told the victim where they were going and led police to a drive-in theater.

Griffin was taken into custody after police found him in the vehicle. He has been charged with theft of property.
