CARDI B EXPLAINS HER DECISION TO GET MARRIED TO OFFSET
this past weekend’s BET Awards, Offset took the stage with his Migos crew and shared a message to thank his wife. After the comment, some investigative work was done and found that the hip-hop couple officially got married on September 20th, 2017. It was a surprise since Offset publicly proposed to Cardi in Philadelphia in October but according to Cardi’s official statement on the matter, Offset did it knowing that his lady wanted “that special moment.”
“There are so many moments that I share with the world and there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments!” she tweeted. “Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other.”
She described how they woke up one morning wanting to tie the knot and simply made it happen. “We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!”
