Carmelo Anthony, of the Oklahoma City Thunder, will be investing $5 Million dollars into sports bars and pizza restaurants. In collaboration with Keith Rubenstein’s Somerset Hospitality Group the NBA star will be making a major investment into this business venture.
The Bronx-based eatery called Nobody’s Pizza, and luxury sports bar called The Ainsworth will have multiple locations. According to a statement given to the NY Post the athlete looks forward to “combining food, entertainment, sports and real estate”.
The exact location openings and dates have not been released just yet. Rubenstein says the public can look forward to “side- by- side” openings soon.
