About Time Apple !
Currently Apple is refunding $50 to iPhone owners who paid full price for a out-of-warranty battery replacement for iPhone 6 or newer devices last year. Many iPhone users have experienced difficulties when it comes to updating older model phones or replacing their batteries. As iPhones had a built in feature to avoid unexpected shutdowns, which could slow down the functions of the phone.
Due to this happening many people sued over this. So now Apple is working to rectify the matter. Apple stated if your a customer who paid full price before Dec.29 to replace an out-of-warranty battery, you are eligible for a refund. Apple will notify eligible customers via email before July 27 of this year.
