BET cancels “The Quad” a couple days before the season 2 finale.
The decision was led by the continuous changes that keep occurring at the Viacom-owned cabler. Even from the network’s decision to cancel the drama, “Being Mary Jane”, that was starred by Gabrielle Union.
“The Quad” was a tv written series that was suppose to capture the real life dramas that occur on the campus of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and the trials and tribulations that come with.
During the second season, the viewers began to plummet, hitting a 30% in ratings and views per episode. The series was starred by Anika Noni Rose. The series premiere of the show was February of last year, beginning with a two-hour long pilot.
