Columbus Short only serves 34 days out of his 1 year prison sentence for beating his wife.
Back in November when the scandal surfaced, he pled to no contest for the alleged allegations against his wife, Aida Abramyan. He was originally sentenced to 36 months probation however, he was already on probation when the situation arose. Columbus was put on probation earlier due to a brutal bar brawl he was involved in. The courts weren’t sympathetic once he landed back in the system for the domestic issues he had with his wife.
He was booked on February 13th according to the police reports, however he was released earlier and his sentence was dramatically dropped due to overcrowding in the prison.
