Snoop Dogg’s cannabis firm raises $45 million for an investment into the weed industry.
The rapper and the connoisseur of marijuana in 2015 co-founded an accessory cannabis venture. However, that initial investment wasn’t for the dispensaries, but supplies to grow the cannabis. The organization sold items; such as picks and shovels that are used in the preparation.
Now that he has acquired $45 million he plans on investing no less than $1 million into all of his ventures. He has currently been investing most of his coins into companies like, LeafLink. LeafLink is a the online version of Walmart for cannabis retailers and brands. It will ultimately be a dispensary that allows you to log-in and order from various vendors. This eliminates the questions most have when it comes to cannabis.
His managing partner, Karan Wadhera explains his involvement into his new venture saying “He mainly handles the financial modeling….his involvement lends a lot of credibility and excitement to our portfolio. He’s also there for input whenever we need it.” I guess they say when you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. We’re happy to hear that Snoop is making all of his dreams come true!
