Drake and Future can wipe the sweat off their brows now that they’ve been let off the hook in regards to a $25 million rape-related lawsuit they had both been named in for over a year.

Fans may recall reports surfacing of a woman’s intentions to go after the two superstars after she was accosted and sexually assaulted by a man working security at a concert they headlined in Nashville, Tennessee. The woman, who is documented under the common moniker, ‘Jane Doe,’ claims that she was led into an isolated area, pushed down, and forced upon by a man who was later identified as 38-year-old Leavy Johnson, on August 14 of that year.

In court documents filed by the claimant, she explains how she became willing to follow Johnson backstage after he promised that he could bring her to meet the rap tandem. Her basis for listing Drake and Future in the suit in the first place had to do with Johnson being hired to work that night at Bridgestone Arena, despite him having had a criminal record that included outstanding warrants for assault.

To the determination of the 28-year-old victim and her legal team, she was put in danger by the negligence of the rappers, their managers, and the touring company that put the show together. While Drake and Future have been cleared of any responsibility in the incident, several other defendants reportedly remain.
