“God’s Plan” took off to the Hot 100 at No.1 when the song was released January 19th. “Diplomatic Immunity” also entered the charts at No. 7.
The popular single has gone 3x platinum in the US in just one month. The release of the philanthropic music video is what helped to push the song to just a feat. The 6 God secretly built up hype for the visual with footage and stories of the charitable deeds he was performing throughout Miami.
Drake nearly gave nearly a million dollars of his video budget to help the community.
Drake now has 159 career Hot 100s under his belt, the most among any solo act!
