WHY IS YOUNG THUG TAKING A BREAK?
Fans have been waiting for nearly three years for a new Thug album, but it looks like they will have to wait a little longer. Not only is the YSL rapper pushing his studio debut back to 2019, he isn’t planning on releasing material this year, period. It is a leap of absence that he says he’s taking in the name of his disabled brother.
“I’ve got a deaf brother,” Thugger told Hypebeast during an interview that was recorded at a New York Fashion Week show. “I’ve got a brother who can’t hear or talk, so I want to act deaf for a year. So, I ain’t going to put out no music this year.”
