Black Lives Matter activist Muhiyidin Elamin Moye who is an activist and organization leader fought for social justice in Charlestown, South Carolina. He prominently known for recently attempting to rip down a Confederate flag during a protest.
Moye was shot and killed while riding his bike on Tuesday morning.
According to a statement by New Orleans Police Department spokesman Beau Tidwell, Moye was found at exactly 1:25 a.m.
There is a GoFundMe that was created for Moye’s memorial service. His niece who created the GoFundMe set the goal for $7,500, but she has already raised $14,791.
