EVERYBODY IS EXCITED FOR BLACK PANTHER!
A new teaser for Black Panther aired on ESPN Monday night. It introduces Andy Serkis as the main antagonist and Ulysses Klaue working in South Africa trying to execute his personal vendetta against Wakandan King T’Challa and the rest of the nation of Wakanda.
In the opening shot, Martin Freeman asks, “You’re telling me that the king of a third world country runs around in a bulletproof cat suit?” From there it’s all conflict, with Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan suiting up.
Although the trailer did feature some old footage, it does tease a new song featuring Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples. This is likely to be the second single off the soundtrack that Lamar has executive produced for the film.
