FREE KEVIN GATES!
Fans of Kevin Gates was excited to learn that the incarcerated rapper’s parole date has been moved up six months, and hopes he will be a free man within the coming weeks.
Kevin Gates is currently serving time at the East Moline correctional center in Illinois, where he was detained after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm. Gates reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear in court. Kevin was sent to Chicago to be sentenced after serving out a 180-day term in Florida for a battery charge filed by a fan.
The Illinois Department of Corrections website shows documentation reveals a January 10, 2018 as tentative for his parole.
His time behind bars was shorten from the June 2018 parole date he was given back in May. Gates’ attorney now faces the task of presenting a case that would merit the state to grant him the parole in a few weeks.
