The executive of music publishing at Disney is accused of sexually assaulting two underage girls approximately ten years ago. Heely is claimed to have victimized one girl that was only 15 years old and another that was 11 years old. The second victim’s abuse went on for four years.
The 58-year-old was arrested on November 16th but released on a $150,000 bail. However Heely was charged with three counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child with another scheduled court appearance on January 10th looking to face nine years and three months in prison if found guilty. The abuser, Jon Heely, has continued to pleed not guilty and denies all accusations.
The Disney company has released a statement claiming that the cooperation has “Immediately upon learning of this situation tonight, he has been suspended without pay until the matter is resolved by the courts,” Disney’s spokesman said.
