Gabrielle Union opens up about her suffering from multiple miscarriage’s
Gabrielle Union revealed in a interview that she’s suffered multiple miscarriages in an attempt to have a baby with husband Dwayne Wade. In her new book We’re Going to Need More Wine Union opens up about her struggles with infertility and failed IVF treatments.
Union quotes from her book “I have had eight or nine miscarriages. For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant . I’ve been going to the doctors or getting injected with an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
Even after three years of failed IVF cycles and being sick from the hormones, Union and Wade remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.
Union says dealing with infertility issue’s while being in the public eye hasn’t been easy since she is constantly reminded of her struggle each time she’s with both family’s and strangers wonder when she is having kids.
By sharing her story in We’re Going to Need More Wine (Oct. 17) Union hopes that people will approach her differently about the topic.
