The search continues for 17-year-old Meshon Williams who is accused by police of  shooting a 6-year-old over the weekend!

DeKalb County Police said Williams opened fire during an argument that was sparked by a social media post. Bullets went through the wall of the boy’s home an Sweetgum Lane near decatur. It hit the child as he played in the living room.

Bullet holes and shattered windows can still be seen in the home of 6-year-old Z’mari Mitchell. The young boy was playing inside of the home when police say Williams fired 31 rounds outside the home a little after 5:30 pm. Many neighbors in the community off Peachcrest Road are still on edge, reluctant to show their faces, but outraged to hear the whole ordeal started with aa dispute among teenage girls over a social media post.

DeKalb County Police said Williams, who is only 17 aimed at Mitchell home and opened fire before taking off in a gray SUV.

Police said the 6-year-old remained in critical condition at Children’s Healthcare at Egleston Tuesday. His neighbors remained hopeful someone will tell police where to find him before anyone else gets hurt. Williams is described by officials as being 5’11 tall and weighing about 150 lbs. Investigators consider him armed and dangerous.

Police are asking anyone who can help get him off the streets!
