{STREETZ MORNING TAKEOVER} TRL RETURNS TO MTV!!

TRL returns to MTV and opens up with a tribute to the Las Vegas Victims.

TRL (2008) has returned to MTV Monday morning! The network revives its classic “Total Request Live” with 4 brand new host Erik Zachary, Amy Pham, Tamara Dhia, Lawrence Jackson and Atlanta’s very own DC Yungfly.

Monday morning was also in sad spirits as TRL opened up the show with an Anti-Gun PSA and informing fans that “Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families … and even though our hearts are hurting right now, we’re going to keep going and lift each other up.”

The show followed up with an outdoor performance by Migos, a special guest appearance by DJ Khalid, and Ed Sheeran. They will also have Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and Demi Lovato! The show will still feature fans requesting their favorite music videos live!

DC Yung fly tells Daily news “We’re not trying to overdo what has already been done, We’re trying to come back to recreate and bring more spunk to it and this show has so much diversity … right now we need diverse.”
