Universal Hip-Hop Museum Finally Gets a Place to Call Home!
One of the world’s most popular art form, hip-hop culture, is on its way to having their own museum. The Universal Hip-Hop Museum has been in the making for 4 years! They decided to locate it in the Bronx, where hip-hop originated. The Director of the Board, Rocky Bucano, Universal Hip-Hop Museum still has a long way to go; this first phase of construction will be completed in 2022.
“The Universal Hip-Hop Museum may be the single most important project for the preservation of hip-hop culture,” says UHHM chairman Kurtis Blow. Who will be recognized in the museum? We will have to wait a few years, but the wait will be worth it!
