Parts of Georgia still remain without power since the tragic Hurricane Irma occurred.
According to Georgia Power around 165,000 customers are still in the dark. Many tree’s have fell down over the weekend blocking roads as well as knocking down power lines. Georgia Power believes 95% of customers will have their power back on by Sunday night.
Some customers have been complaining about their power still being off and being stuck in their homes. Georgia Power states “We want customers to be patient as we work as quickly as possible to restore everyone’s power. We understand the damages Irma did when it knocked out power for nearly 1 million customers statewide.” Help is on the way!
